VISION

Our vision is for every family that has a child with special needs to be fulfilled and empowered.

​OUR STORY

Aidan’z House was formed by an African American single parent of a child with an Intellectual Disability. With a mission to create a supportive network for Special Need parents. The organization was incorporated in 2014, Los Angeles, California. In 2017, Aidan’z House became a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, with team of Special Need Parents/Advocates in pursue for equitable change in their communities. Their work as Special Needs Parents/ Advocates included Aidan’z Toy House and Whole Heart Closet.

UP TO THIS DAY

With the generosity of community partners, Aidan’z House has hosted 6 holiday giveaways. Gifted1,170 children and 220 families in under- resourced and rural communities of Los Angeles, Watts, Los Angeles, Inglewood, Compton and in the San Gabriel Valley (providing toys, clothes, and new shoes). Has partnered with Inglewood Police Department for the 2017 “Shop with The Cop” holiday event. In effort to foster a healthy relationship between low-income families of children with disabilities and the Inglewood Police Dept. Adopted ten schools (providing resources, school supplies, uniforms, and sporting equipment Special Ed. classrooms). Gifted PPE, toys, clothes, and new shoes to forty Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) families who have or currently experiencing housing insecurities during the Covid – 19 Pandemic (Los Angeles, CA). Subsequently, identifying seven African American/Black single mother of children with Developmental/Intellectual and Behavior Disabilities of this group as potential participants of Aidan’z House – Emotional Wealth Initiative.
