Healing through Art, Expression, & Environment

Aidan’z Brush: Creative Wellness is a healing-centered arts program by Aidan’z House, designed to nurture emotional wellness, creativity, and community connection through the arts. Rooted in the belief that creative expression promotes mental balance and environmental mindfulness, the program offers free and low-cost workshops that combine art, nature, and wellness. Participants explore writing, movement, and visual arts while learning eco-conscious practices that support personal and planetary healing.

Each workshop is designed to empower individuals of all abilities to express themselves, reduce stress, and build stronger connections to both their inner world and the environment around them. From poetry inspired by California’s wildfires to dance that celebrates resilience, Aidan’z Brush transforms creativity into care for self, community, and Earth.

✍🏽 Work Published in a Statewide Poetry Anthology

Rooted in the heart of our community and inspired by our beloved tree, Mr. Chesterfield, this creative writing workshop invites children and their caregivers to explore healing, resilience, and nature through poetry. Guided by poet Gia Cilverolo and hosted by Aidan’z House, families use words to grow like branches—reaching toward hope and renewal after life’s fires.

Each week, participants write from the heart, reflecting on Los Angeles’ wildfires, the changing climate, and the wisdom of trees. Together, we nurture creativity and eco-awareness, discovering how poetry can help us heal and reconnect with the Earth. The workshop will culminate in a joyful in-person graduation celebration, where families share their poems beneath the spirit of Mr. Chesterfield, with selected works to be published in a statewide poetry anthology.

Summer Dance & Movement Workshop

📅 June  1-30th 2025

Chesterfield Square Park, Los Angeles, CA

What a beautiful season of movement and magic! Our Community Dance & Movement Workshop brought families together to dance, breathe, and celebrate wellness in the heart of nature. With guidance from our friends at Heidi Duckler Dance, participants of all ages discovered how every step and stretch can connect us to the Earth—just like the lessons we’ll explore in our upcoming Mr. Chesterfield eco-story.

From playful rehearsals under the trees to our radiant culmination dance ceremony, the air was filled with laughter, rhythm, and the spirit of togetherness. Using eco-friendly props and nature-inspired themes, families expressed joy, resilience, and creativity in motion. This workshop truly captured what Aidan’z Brush: Creative Wellness is all about—healing, harmony, and a deep love for our planet and one another.
