The Emotional Wealth Initiative is a movement for Black/African American single parents and heads of households navigating the journey of caring for loved ones with disabilities. We know that when the head of the household is poured into, the entire village thrives.
The Mission: Power, Not Charity
We are expanding our reach to combat the silent crises of financial strain and caregiver burnout. EWI isn't a "direct service"—it’s a Sisterhood and Brotherhood of Resilience designed to:

Activities & Services
Clean Air & Sustainable Living
Celebrating Earth Day 2026
Aidan’z House hosted a one-day virtual Clean Air & Sustainable Living cohort as part of our commitment to environmental wellness, sustainability education, and community resilience through the Main Street Goes Green initiative.
Six families in Los Angeles County participated in the Zoom workshop, learning about indoor air quality, energy-saving practices, emergency preparedness during smoke and pollution events, and sustainable habits that support healthier homes and long-term cost savings.
Upon completion of the cohort and post-survey, all six participating families received a free HEPA air purifier to support cleaner indoor air at home. This initiative supports the goals of the Aidan’z House Green Resilience Plan by strengthening environmental awareness, household preparedness, and healthier living environments for families in our community.
Community Garden Project
Rooted in South LA
In collaboration with Faith in Christ Ministry, we revitalized a community garden in South Los Angeles to cultivate health, friendship, and food sovereignty. While the garden is currently in a season of rest, the seeds we planted continue to grow within our community.
We are proud of the roots we’ve established and look forward to getting our hands back in the soil soon!

The Whole Heart Hub
Supporting the Emotional Wealth Initiative
Our Toy Giveaway and Whole Heart Closet have officially merged into a single effort designed to pour back into our families. This project is a direct extension of the Emotional Wealth Initiative. By providing essential items and holiday joy, we aim to lift the financial weight off parents and caregivers, allowing them to focus on the emotional and fiscal health of their families.
